Fox is hosting a Simpson’s marathon and sweepstakes today, in Hollywood, to celebrate the 500th episode of the series that will air this Sunday. Starting today at 4pm at the Hollywood and Highland Center, everyone is welcome to view the marathon challenge as specially selected fans will come together to watch up to 500 continuous episodes of The Simpson’s in an attempt to break the current Guinness World Record of 86 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds for the longest continuous television viewing. Fans will also be able to visit The Simpson’s fanfare area which will be equipped with interactive elements and animation cells. Some cast members from The Simpson’s will also be on hand and there will be free donuts for all!
