The 2011 Pokémon World Championships are fast approaching. From Aug. 12-14, players from all around the world will be heading down to sunny San Diego, California for a chance to be crowned the very best at either the video game or trading card game.

The official Pokémon World Championship site just went up and has already posted the schedule for the festivities. They will also be posting all of the standings so you can follow the progress of your friends as well as other articles, photos, and videos of everything going on.
